Getting to Santa Rosa

There are multiple airports in the area, with San Francisco International (SFO) being the main option. Depending on your location, you may also want to consider other options in the area:

San Francisco International (SFO)- 75.6 mi – 1 hour 16 mins (map)

Sonoma County Airport (STS) - 8.0 mi – 13 mins (map)
Oakland International (OAK) - 68.3 mi – 1 hour 10 mins (map)
Sacramento International (SMF) - 102 mi – 1 hour 38 mins (map
San Jose International (SJC) - 97.4 mi - 1 hour 36 mins (map)

In addition to getting to and from the airport, we recommend renting a car to explore the beautiful Sonoma Valley. There are many things to see and do, and with many friends and family coming in around the same time, we will happily match folks for group rentals! Please drop us a note in the RSVP section if you want to find a rental car friend-- Dan LOVES spreadsheets. (SF traffic jam = friendship maker)

Sonoma County Airport Express runs a shuttle bus hourly from SFO/OAK to Santa Rosa. We haven't used this service, but it has nice reviews on Yelp!
